Contact Nora Harvey Artist

Nora Harvey is a visual fine artist working from her home studio in Windsor, Ontario. Originally from Kecskemét, Hungary, she grew up surrounded by Europe’s rich artistic heritage, spending countless hours sketching and studying the old masters—an early foundation that continues to inform her artistic voice today.

An active member of AWE, ACWR, and Artcite Inc., Nora previously served two years on the board of the Arts and Cultural Alliance of Windsor Essex. She received the City of Windsor’s ACHF COVID-19 Enhanced Funding Grant in 2020 and has supported her community through fundraising initiatives, donating more than fifteen paintings to local charities. Her career includes ten solo exhibitions alongside numerous group shows, including *Doin’ the Louvre* with Artcite Inc. and member exhibitions at ArtSpeak Gallery.

Influenced by Abstract Expressionism, Nora’s work explores nature, the human condition, and meditative thought through texture, movement, and emotional depth. Her practice is rooted in experimentation, with experience spanning drawing, printmaking, etching, sculpture, and mixed media, all contributing to her intuitive and evolving artistic process.
