A self-taught mixed media artist and instructor from Chatham-Kent, Ontario, I find endless fascination and joy in the interplay of various materials and techniques. My creative process is driven by a deep curiosity and an innate desire to experiment, allowing me to constantly push the boundaries of my artistic expression.
With an open-minded approach, I embrace the freedom of mixed media, allowing me to seamlessly blend textures, colours, and forms, while exploring the harmony and tension between them. This process enables me to uncover unexpected connections and transform ordinary materials into works of art.
I am inspired by the world around me, drawing inspiration from nature’s intricate patterns, the vibrant energy of sky, land and water, and the emotions and experiences that shape our lives.
My goal as a self-taught mixed media artist is to create art that resonates with others, ignites the imagination, and leaves an impression. I am grateful to share my passion with the world.
