Louisburg Fog

$100.00

This painting is part of a series of paintings called Louisburg, which were inspired after visiting Louisburg Lighthouse in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Magnificent beauty of strong structures of land formations and the astonishing massive size of the cliffs surrounding the Lighthouse were captured in this painting. As well as the rushing strong power of the waves crushing against the cliffs on a foggy morning.

To achieve the effect of huge rocks, I used a combination of painting with a pallet knife and soft easy brush strokes. This painting is ready to hang or to be placed on a bookshelf along your favourite books or placed on a small photo easel for easy viewing.
